Today is the National Day of Service, a day that President Obama started four years ago to honor the life an legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. and to encourage Americans to be committed to a life of service- whether it’s at a school, community, city, state, or a national level.
Joe Ford has dedicated his life to service as I have witnessed in school and in the community. I have seen him grow from a high school teenager experimenting with creative ways to sharpen his voice at Parkdale Idol as the best host ever to a college graduate and now a chef that is evolving into an entrepreneur. Joe is goal-oriented and knows his worth and welcomes the opportunity to prove it. His integrity is constantly polished as he strives to do good deeds both big and small. I will never forget how Joe brought his family to my home and prayed for me after I was in a car accident. In addition to this, Joe recently volunteered to cater one of my events. He delivered a professional experience that exceeded my expectations while teaching me a few things in the kitchen! Joe Ford is an awesome person with a rich heart and he is LOVED!
